For years ISA has been conducting camps and clinics all throughout Long Island and has provided players and teams with a comprehensive training program. This program is the choice of many US National ODP Team, Regional ODP Team, State ODP Team, and Premier Team players.

During the SUMMER, ISA will take players through a weeklong “skills-based” curriculum emphasizing topics like: (1) 1v1 attacking, and tricks to beating your opponent; (2) group attacking; (3) 1v1 defending; (4) small group defending; (5) shooting and goal-scoring techniques; (6) possession and combination play (give-and-go, overlap, third-player running, take-over); and (7) other special skills.

During WINTER, ISA offers a 12 week skills program that is second to none, with special emphasis on individual skills development. This is the perfect opportunity to the aspiring player to get individual attention and correction.
Players that attend the ISA SKILLS CAMPS will have the opportunity to work with and across from accomplished ISA players and coaches and hear first hand what has made them successful.
This is a program that you do not want to miss. There will be no skills program that gives you the experience like ISA. When selecting a program for your child, go with a program with proven results for developing players among the best technical players in the United States.

Welcome and congratulations on having a child participating in the world’s most popular sport – soccer! We are proud to share in your enthusiasm and look forward to an opportunity to work with your child this summer. Our program is open to players of all ages and abilities, so don’t be shy. Through the years we have been fortunate to have worked with thousands of players across Long Island. Whether your child is enrolled in our program only for the summer, or on a year round basis, we are confident you will benefit from and enjoy a curriculum which has helped prepare our past players for advanced play in Major League Soccer (MLS), Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS), USL Women’s W League, Division 1 college soccer, as well as the US National, Region 1, and ENY State ODP programs.
ABOUT INTENSE SOCCER ACADEMY (ISA)
Intense Soccer Academy (ISA) was established over sixteen years ago with the intention of providing players with quality training and competition opportunities at an affordable rate and in a family environment. Our program is founded on the fundamental principle that individual skills development is a critical element necessary for each player’s future success and achievement. Accordingly, our curriculum includes a challenging and rewarding skills program which is tested and proven through competition nationally every year against the best programs in the United States. Intense Soccer Academy (ISA) remains the only Long Island based training program to ever win the USL Girls SYL National Championships and over a dozen USYSA ENY State Championships.
ABOUT THE STAFF
Our staff is headed up by nationally licensed and recognized three time youth coach of the year (1999, 2003, 2006), Ron Alber and former women’s professional soccer star and college all American, Sue Weber (n/k/a Sue Alber). The directors are joined by a roster of experienced staff including nationally licensed and certified coaches, former pro soccer players, past division 1 college soccer players, accomplished youth soccer coaches, and distinguished visiting associate staff.

CURRICULUM: Each week contains an action packed curriculum including INDIVIDUAL skills and 1v1 attacking moves, shooting, crossing and finishing, passing and receiving, possession, and speed of play as well as TEAM tactics and organizational material for our team campers.
WHAT TO BRING: properly inflated soccer ball, shin guards, soccer shoes, ample water and fluids, and lunch.
