INTENSE GIRLS ACADEMY TEAMS CONTINUE TO COMPETE ON NATIONAL STAGE

For years INTENSE SOCCER ACADEMY has trained, coached and managed nationally competitive boys and girls club teams.  As soccer has continued to progress and develop in the United States, more options and leagues for parents and players to choose from have been formed.  These options, while exciting and progressive, can be confusing and overwhelming to the unknowing soccer family.

The common goals for most families who chose to pursue competitive soccer are:

  1. development;
  2. enjoyment;
  3. college soccer opportunities; and
  4. exposure for State, Regional and National ODP identification

ISA believes that a family should not have to spend their last dollar to accomplish the 4 goals listed above.  Rather, an organized and proven approach can help soccer families pursue their goals while balancing other considerations like finances, physical and emotional commitment, and balancing the rigors of an active family and academic schedule.

In the past ISA’s teams were hosted by varying clubs and, on paper, our teams were identified by the presence of our initials "ISA" in each team’s name.  For example, Commack ISA-Emeralds (4 time state champion), East Meadow ISA-Magic (3 time ENY State Champion), and the like all shared two things... the ISA bond and their goals.

INTENSE girls academy program competes in both USYSA and US Club Soccer sanctioned events.  These events include competitions like: DISNEY SHOWCASE, PDA SHOWCASE, CASL RALEIGH SHOWCASE, JEFFERSON CUP, FC DELCO PLAYERS CUP, BETHESDA TOURNAMENT, REGION 1 PREMIER LEAGUE, US CLUB SOCCER REGIONAL AND NATIONAL EVENTS.

For the 2009-2010 seasonal soccer year, ISA is proud of the expansion of our INTENSE girls teams to now encompass the U8-U19 age categories.  Each of these players (as appropriate for age) are regularly evaluated and observed for promotion to the women’s USL "W" League team, the Long Island Rough Riders.
